IPTV - SPB Software
SPB Software, a leading mobile software developer, is proud to inform that SPB TV, its mobile IPTV software, has received one of three winner's awards in Media category of Google's prestigious ADC2 contest. SPB Software has won this award in competition with 199 other nominees of Round II, 19 of them in the same category.
The competition was especially tough due to Google's innovative and inventive approach to the voting system. Users could participate in the evaluation process only by downloading ADC2 software from Android Market. During the second stage of the competition users were randomly offered two hundred applications, one by one. After they evaluated an application and gave it a respective rating, it disappeared from their smartphones. We believe such conditions make our achievement even more exciting.

First, SPB Software regards Android as one of the most prospective platforms with growing deployment base. Second, SPB TV is one of our strategically most important products, and the award will earn it a wider acceptance."
SPB Software thanks all the users who voted for our product. We regard such an honor as an obligation to broaden our line-up of Android software along with improving the quality of existing applications.

SPB Software, a leading maker of mobile applications, announces the release of SPB Flash Cards, a learning software created to quickly and effectively expand one's word stock in a language under study. The software provides over 1000 cards in Czech, German, English, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese and Swedish, all dubbed by native speakers of respective languages.
SPB Flash Cards provides great assistance in learning a new language, although it has no claim to be the sole mean of doing that. When mastering a new language, it is crucial to skip the stage of translating a word into mother tongue first, memorizing a direct match of a subject and a foreign word instead. SPB Flash Cards software is aimed at just that - the process of learning begins with a new flash card appearing, showing an image of an item along with the matching word and the right pronunciation from a native speaker.
But this is just the beginning - several other memorizing techniques are also included. Besides, SPB Flash Cards contains a smart algorythm to track the user's progress and adapt further learning process accordingly. • Dec ‘09

Live and on-demand multi-screen IP video
Deals with Tier 1 U.S. Cable, OTT and Telecom Operators, Strengthened Channel Partnerships and Growing Need for Superior TV Services, on Latest Connected Devices, Drive Envivio's Profitability and Record Bookings
Envivio announced that its Fiscal Year 2011 (ending January 31, 2011) was the most successful in the company's history. Driven by global demand for its live and on-demand video solutions that span mobile, Internet and traditional TV screens, Envivio doubled both its revenues and sales bookings.
"The success of the past year is clear validation of Envivio's TV without boundaries strategy that creates solutions to deliver the best subscriber experience regardless of the viewing platform," said Envivio CEO Julien Signès. "The traditional broadcast television world is changing: TV is no longer limited to stationary screens in the home, but is now being delivered to every IP connected device, whether it is an iPad, iPhone, Android phone or tablet, or other dynamic device. Envivio, with its flexible software-based platform, is in a unique position to enable traditional and emerging TV service providers to fulfill their customers demand for the support of this TV revolution."
Current indications point to Envivio continuing to strengthen its position in the market. Of particular note is that development of Envivio's sales channel has resulted in tremendous success; approximately 70% of the company's sales were made through partners in FY2011. In addition to achieving profitability, other numerous other signs of sustained growth include:
• Over 250% growth year over year in the United States
• Deployments at five of the top six Cable and Telecom operators in the United States
• Revenue and bookings doubled each quarter throughout FY2011
This growth reflects the fact that Envivio's multi-screen delivery solutions closely align with market requirements. Envivio's flexible software means its customers are first to support the most desirable consumer devices and features as they come to market. The evolution of Envivio's converged headend solution is making multi-screen deployment easier and operations more cost-effective for service providers. The analyst group Frost & Sullivan cited these factors in awarding Envivio its 2010 Global Customer Value Enhancement of the Year Award in the Pay-TV Video Encoders market during a ceremony on Feb. 9, 2011 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Envivio now serves more than 200 customers in over 50 countries. Every day, Envivio encoders process unique streams serving tens of millions of viewers. • 10-2-11
