The versatile video solutions from Cystelcom triumph at MWC

Cystelcom Sistemas, a leading provider of Video Contact Center and live mobile video solutions for 3G/SIP devices using video calling, attended the Mobile World Congress once again as an exhibitor in the fifth edition of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and presented it latest solutions from its Veedia 3G Mobile Video Solutions platform.

The 2010 edition did not seem to be greatly affected by the difficult world economic climate, given that in comparison to the previous year both the number of exhibitors and participants grew by 10% and 6% respectively.

The Ministry of Industry’s Miguel Ángel Sebastián attended the inaguration of the event by visiting the Spanish Pavilion to support the Spanish exhibitors represented. In the Cystelcom Sistemas stand, Sebastián was intrigued by the in the Veedia Video Conferencing Bridge, a solution that unifies H.323/SIP devices, 3G handsets and Adobe Flash-based web video conferencing.

Adolfo Martín, Cystelcom Sales Director, explained to the Minister that: “It’s an innovative solution that gives users a new access channel via video conferencing technology, without the need to install software.”

In the area of mobile social networking Cystelcom presented the It’sMiVideo solution developed on the Veedia platform, a video messaging application integrated with the Facebook platform that enables online and mobile video messaging among Facebook users. Users can send and receive private video messages on Facebook—to one friend or to groups of friends— and from any 3G phone using video calling, without having to install any application on their device. • 22-2-10
